Update from shayd re:  kalkail's surgery:
Other than pain from the surgery and allergies, Michelle is recovering and ready to fly the coop as soon as the doctors will let her out.  Apparently they caught the gall bladder before it could be perforated, which is a good thing.
Much love going her way for a speedy recovery.
