Well, yeah. Ok.. everything is fine now.  We’ve got a new residence — I’ll post updates where necessary.  The ‘complex’ of townhouses that we live in is managed by a bevy of different companies, apparently.  We just happened to draw the lucky straw and get the one that went into foreclosure.

Ding-dong. That was the sound of our doorbell. Shannon answers the door and there is a man from Century 21 standing there and explains to us both that the bank now owns the property we’re currently renting, and that we should not pay rent to anyone who comes around asking for a check.
