Ooooh, thanks again for mentioning the mustards -- back in college, my roommate and I would go in on a turkey breast, and I would bake it, but before doing so, I would brush honey and then a grainy mustard on top.. I had forgotten all about that! I'm so DOING THAT! YUM!

And the sodium in that bread seriously blows, but.. again.. did I mention how YUMMY it is? ;o)

Ah hah! Looking at the bread, I wouldn't be as worried about the sugar as, again, about the sodium. 2 slices is 400 mg, which is a lot, especially with deli meat. The roasting a real turkey breast thing is awesome.. I do that fairly often. If you ever think of branching out, flavor-wise, try some "gourmet" mustards. I love them. Ditto a low-carb lavash. Yummm.

Thank you for these tips!! They're wonderful, and I'm really going to keep them in mind as I go shopping. What I'd /really/ like to do is go get a whole turkey breast and a roast and just make my own 'deli' meats because I hear you on the salt content.

I wonder how 'bad' that German dark whole wheat bread is -- Oh wait!! Here it is:

<a href="http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-pepperidge-farm-german-dark-wheat-i102256" target="_blank">http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-pepperidge...</a>

It's got 3 grams of sugar per slice. That's probably really bad. BUT IT'S SO DELICIOUS! *cries*

sandwiches really can be pretty healthy, yes. Healthy enough to live on. You just have to look out for a few things. 1) The protein source you use shouldn't be through the roof with sodium (unfortunately, this rules out most deli meats), 2) there should be a variety of veggies on them, as many different vibrant colors as possible on each. 3) the bread itself should be low sugar, no trans fats (you'd be surprised how many still use those), and whole grain (yay fiber), 4) cheese is fine on some, since you need fat in your diet, but a lot of cheese isn't. And have some fruit on the side. :) I'm a sandwich fiend, too,... and I'd totally live off them if my more sensible half let me.

Tattoos are as exclusive as the particular individual sporting them. However , there are many citizens existing in a world where tattoo as a form of art isn't socially applicable, especially in commercial offices or a work place.
